Sanja Vasić

Sanja Vasić is a transdisciplinary artist and cultural worker born 1993 in Belgrade, Serbia. She holds an MA in CCC (Critical Curatorial Cybermedia) from HEAD – Genève (2019), and an MA
in Textile Arts from 2018 (Winner of the Iva Vrinjanin Fund Award).

She participated in numerous events in Serbia and abroad, both as exhibiting artist, and a member of collaborative curatorial processes (co-directing series of poetry performances in TU, co-curating “Unsettling Resonances’ Series of events in Geneva, collaborating with HEKLER Collective in their series of ‘Anti-Fear’ events). After engagements abroad, and especially after participating in Mitrovica Art Residency on Kosovo in 2023, she has been actively more back in her hometown, where she is currently living, working and creating, in entangled rhythm. From 2024, she is a member of ULUS.

At the AWB, she will also contribute as an artist with a selection of poetical texts playing with the ambivalent and complexified approaches to identity explorations.
