Artwork “The Mirror” is a portrait of a middle-aged male figure standing calm with a cart full of raw, secondary materials, with the large mirror in the foreground. It aims to draw attention to the issue of poverty.

To keep an eye on individual from marginalized groups, and to raise questions about his life. Behind the picture, as well as behind similar images from reality that we notice with the corner of our eyes, there are unfamiliar reverse sides of stories.

Milica Dukić is an independent visual artist, the member of SULUV (The Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina), as well as the member of the gallery wok zadruga (Shock collective). In her practice she explores new approaches of embroidery technique. She is based in Novi Sad where she finished her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts several years ago.
