My original inspiration is drawn from traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e woodcuts and the elements of contemporary manga/anime aesthetics but it’s also accompanied by the street art culture.
The idea of flatness is here to place the characters into the relation of equality in the bright-colored world of optimism.
I try to create my characters mainly pure and soulful, but sometimes rebellious; shown fighting or just simply enjoying their lives they represent the freshness and excitement that I’m searching for.

Jovana graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade where she received her MA in painting in 2020. Mostly devoted to painting and sculpting.
Recently she started developing her own ceramics project. She has exhibited in many group and one solo show.
