Marija Knezevic is a Serbian born multidisciplinary artist based in Belgrade. After studying cinematography at the Faculty of Drama Arts in Serbia her fascination for hand drawn animation led her to a unique style of painting on glass, that resembles the treatment of celluloid film negatives. Her paintings explore a child-like wonder and sensitivity of the world through and almost naive yet delicate combinations of colors and shapes.
