The tapestry is a part of larger work consisting of 28 tapestries.

Zagorka Stojanović was born in Belgrade in 1939, where she graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts. She works with tapestry, costume design, scenography, (theater, film and TV) illustration and fashion costume. She is visiting professor in Poland, Romania and Zagreb. Her works were exhibited in over 70 collective and individual exhibitions in the country and abroad (Lodj, Paris, Bucharest, New York). She received 12 awards for her impressive art works including recent Vuk Award (2016).
Her tapestries are located in Belgrade, London (Dovy Mc Kee), Liberville (LIBERVILLE – Gabon), Skopje, Kragujevac, Bečići, Arandjelovac, Sveti Stefan,Vrnjačka Banja, Pancevo, Žalec (Slovenia), Batajnica, Slavonski Brod … She lives and works in the picturesque village of Rakari, Serbia.
