Awarded with Magister of Arts degree from the Faculty in May 2010. Finished her PhD in 2019 and now is working as associate professor at the same Faculty in Belgrade. Lives in Belgrade and spends summers in Oslo.<br \/>\nNata\u0161as has exhibited at Kulturni centar GRAD &#8211; European Center for Culture and Debate, Belgrade; the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, Novi Sad; Sales Gallery, Belgrade; \u0160ok Cooperative, Novi Sad; Gallery of Contemporary Art, Pan\u010devo ; Reflektor gallery, U\u017eice; art biennial, Timi\u0219oara, Romania; Dots Gallery, Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8211;<br \/>\nBy using literature, physics, my own or found images, I\u2019m trying to convey that we are part of nature, even though in today\u2019s world that seems conflicting. We are surrounded by technology and architecture that insulates us from ourselves, designed to seemingly give us more free time. But often, we become trapped in a never-ending algorithm of not just constant comparisons with other possible worlds, but also in our own, daily routines.<br \/>\nThe ideas of our bubble worlds constantly falling into disrepair are transmitted through charcoal and colour drawings by glitches and \u201cmistakes\u201d that appear out of nowhere. Those errors are a window into a different world &#8211; for better or worse &#8211; by describing this one we all live in &#8211; full of faux pas, but also phenomena and wonder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nata\u0161a Koki\u0107 (1979), Belgrade, Serbia.
